Our Anaesthetists

Shravya is a Specialist Paediatric Anaesthetist at Monash Children’s Hospital. Having completed her MBBS from Monash University in 2012, she completed her training in Anaesthesia at St Vincent’s Hospital, Alfred Health and Monash Health. Shravya then undertook two fellowships – a general fellowship at Alfred Hospital followed by a paediatric anaesthetic fellowship (including experience in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) at the Royal Children’s Hospital.

Shravya continues to regularly provide anaesthesia for all surgical subspecialties, however her main clinical interests are total intravenous anaesthesia, anaesthesia for complex paediatric airway surgery, neurosurgery and obstetrics. She is a keen educator and is involved in the teaching and wellbeing of anaesthetic trainees. Shravya is a member of the Society for Paediatric Anaesthesia in New Zealand and Australia (SPANZA) & Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA). 

Outside of work, Shravya loves to travel, is a big foodie, and occasionally sings at various concerts.
