Sandy joined Albert Street Anaesthetic Group in 2020 following completion of his specialty training in anaesthesia.
After graduating from Monash University in 2011 and completing his general medical years at Frankston Hospital and The Alfred, he started anaesthetic training in 2015. In 2019 he undertook 6 months as Principal Fellow at The Alfred before heading to the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne for a subspecialty fellowship in Paediatric Anaesthesia. During his 18 months there he spent time in both the Neonatal and Paediatric Intensive Care Units.
Sandy is currently working as a consultant at The Alfred and in several private hospitals across Melbourne, with accreditation at St. Vincent’s Private, Epworth and Ramsay Health Care among others.
In addition to Paediatrics, he is interested in ENT, trauma and orthopaedic surgery. He has completed a Masters in Perioperative Medicine (Monash University, 2019) and is planning on building on his interests in regional anaesthesia and education during his career.
