Originally from the United Kingdom, Dr Katie Fitzsimons graduated from the University of Glasgow, and holds both British and Australian anaesthetic qualifications.
As well as working in the private health sector, Katie holds a public appointment at Monash Health, where she is responsible for recruitment and supervising junior anaesthetists, teaching trainees and facilitating on airway management courses for Australian and New Zealand anaesthetists.
She participates in yearly Continued Professional Development through the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA).
