Irfan studied Medicine at The Yerevan State Medical University in Armenia and graduated in 2007.
He started the anaesthetic training program at Monash Medical Centre in 2016 and after a provisional fellowship year at the Royal Children’s Hospital in 2020, was admitted as a fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in 2021.
Irfan continues to work at Monash Medical Centre and Monash Children’s Hospital as a consultant anaesthetist with a subspeciality interest in paediatric anaesthesia.
Irfan joined the Albert Street Anaesthetic Group in 2023 and enjoys private practice at numerous private hospitals in the southeast of Melbourne.
Irfan is also involved in facilitating workshops and trainee education at Monash health.
Apart from work he enjoys outdoors and spending time with his beautiful young l family.
Irfan is a fellow of the Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and participates in its CPD program. Irfan is also member of Australia society of Anaesthetist and Society of paediatric anaesthesia of Australia and New Zealand.
