Glen completed his medical degree at The University of Western Australia in 2003. After finishing his internship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, he moved to Melbourne in 2005 to continue as a Resident Medical Officer at the Austin and Northern Hospitals.

Glen commenced training in Anaesthesia at Western Hospital in 2008. This training saw him work at many hospitals including Western, Sunshine, Williamstown, Shepparton, Ballarat, and finally Royal Melbourne and Austin Hospitals. He commenced private practice with Albert Street Anaesthetic Group in 2013 and continues to maintain public appointments at the Austin and Royal Dental Hospitals.

Glen has an interest in teaching and is a fully qualified Australian Resuscitation Council Advanced Life Support (ALS) Instructor as well as an instructor for the National Airway Training Course for Anaesthetic Trainees (NATCAT).

Glen is also interested in overseas volunteer work and since 2015 has participated in annual short surgical missions to Tonga, originally as part of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons’ Pacific Island Program, but more recently with the Pasifika Medical Association Group.

Glen is an active participant in the Continuing Professional Development Program of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) and is a member of the Australian Medical Association, Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA), and Doctors for the Environment Australia.

Glen is married with two children and despite living in Melbourne since 2005, continues to be a proud member of the West Coast Eagles. Glen’s Anaesthesia Information Sheet can be found here.
