Dr Ranjan Guha is a staff specialist anaesthetist and co-head of perioperative medicine at Austin Health.
Ranj graduated in medicine from the University of Manchester, UK in 2003. He completed anaesthesia specialist training in London in 2013, with fellowships in intensive care, adult and paediatric cardiac anaesthesia and adult and paediatric liver transplant anaesthesia. He subsequently worked as a consultant in cardiac and general anaesthesia at King’s College Hospital, London.
Ranj moved to Melbourne in 2015, working at the Royal Melbourne Hospital as a fellow in cardiac anaesthesia. Since 2017, he has been employed as a staff specialist anaesthetist at Austin Health and was the acting head of anaesthesia at Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital. Ranj has completed a masters in perioperative medicine and is currently a supervisor for the ANZCA course in perioperative medicine course.
Ranj is a fellow of the Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and participates in its CPD programme.
